Column Cap.

The specified Column Cap connectors were a Simpson Strong-Tie type CC, see this link: http://www.strongtie.com/products/connectors/CC-ECC-ECCU.asp. These are

much heavier duty than the light gauge tee strap that previously existed on this patio/deck posts. The following photographs illustrate the two types

of Post Column Cap connectors used in this project.
