Post/Column Base.

The specified Post/Column Bases were Simpson Strong-Tie CB-66, see this link: http://www.strongtie.com/products/connectors/LCB-CB.asp. These are much heavier

duty than the architectural type connector that were previously in place. Also note that the 6" x 6" wood posts have been coated with a termite resistant

coating. Other options would have been to get pressure treated Douglas fir wood. The photographs below show the post/column bases and coated posts.
